The Quarry
Hidden Venue. Massive Energy.
The Quarry was born from a simple idea: take one of Virginia’s most dramatic natural landscapes and turn it into a one-day music festival that no one would forget. Nestled in a converted stone quarry outside Harrisonburg, the venue offered towering rock walls, crystal-clear water, and a raw, untouched backdrop that no conventional event space could replicate.
The Production
UNRVLD transformed the quarry floor into a fully produced festival grounds — professional stage and lighting rigs, curated sound design that bounced off the canyon walls, and a layout that guided guests through multiple zones: the main stage, cliff-side lounges, swimming areas, food truck village, and sponsor activations.
Multiple DJs performed across two stages throughout the day and into the evening, with lighting design that shifted from golden-hour warmth to a full LED production as the sun dropped behind the quarry walls.
The Experience
Guests arrived to find something unlike any festival in the region. Between sets, they swam in the quarry basin, jumped from designated cliff points, and explored vendor installations from Celsius, Jet Linx, Spirited Hive, and Oral Surgical Institute — each with branded activations designed to feel native to the environment rather than intrusive.
Food trucks lined the entrance corridor. A professional photo team captured the day. And the energy built steadily from afternoon chill to a headline set that had 500+ people moving as one.
The Result
The Quarry generated over 85,000 social impressions in the first 48 hours, with organic content from attendees flooding Instagram and TikTok. The event proved that venue selection and atmosphere design matter more than budget — and that UNRVLD could produce a large-scale outdoor festival with the polish of a private event.
The Quarry is now an annual fixture. The venue. The energy. The experience. Unmatched.
